Frasers Group are expanding our dedicated Warehouse HR team and are looking for three experienced People (HR) Advisors to join our impressive state of the art 2m square foot Distribution Centre, that’s over 30 Football pitches, and is one of the most advanced warehouses within the UK.
We are ideally looking for cover to partner across the three core shifts hours between the three Advisors, there will be some flexibility and urgent on calls at the weekend (rare occurrence).

Job Description
As People Advisor your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the HR Business Partner (HRBP) through the provision of generalist, proactive support on a range of HR issues such as employee relations, performance management, resource planning and talent management.
Providing an efficient service for employees requiring guidance, help and advice in respect of Company policies and procedures and Employment legislation
Creating a positive employee relations approach; supporting, coaching and upskilling Managers to fulfil their people management responsibilities
Providing operational support and advice on employee relations matters; such as disciplinary, grievance, appeals. Dealing with redundancy consultation processes and TUPE when necessary. Proactively dealing with absence management; assisting with the identification and resolution of problematic cases and long-term sickness issues, monitoring KPIs and trends to propose preventive measures
Managing an allocated employee relations case load
Supporting / holding regular HR Surgeries and People Forums
Assisting the Warehouse People Elevation Manager and HR Business Partner team to support departments/teams through organisational change, engaging employees, and embedding new structures and processes
Reviewing and revising HR policies and procedures in collaboration with the Warehouse People Elevation Manager and HRBP, ensuring alignment with Group HR to ensure they meet the needs of the business and are communicated effectively.
Keeping updated in specialist employment legislation knowledge to provide sound guidance and expertise to management.
Supporting the successful integration of ‘Manager without Limits’ leadership programme, ensuring all managers complete the programme and all project outcomes are achieved on site, you’ll support and drive the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction.
Alongside the Warehouse Management team, you’ll partner with the Warehouse Improvement team and other key stakeholders (e.g. Automation, Safety, Operational Training team, Administration) to ensure all transformational programme activity is on track and supported
Working with the Management team to drive performance on key metrics and delivery to plan, ensuring an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil customer web and store demand on time and in full, alongside working with the Safety team to support the drive for safety standards on site
Qualifications
Proven track record in a similar role
Experience of handling ER cases including disciplinary and grievance, appeals, absence management, TUPE, and redundancy
Experience of being a key decision maker in those processes
Up to date knowledge of employment legislation including GDPR
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Resilient, flexible, assertive and confident in approach
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workload
Excellent stakeholder, people and change management skills
Good analytical and systems skills
Customer focused approach
Problem solving ability in a fast-paced business
CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience
Experience in Warehousing is highly desirable
