About the position
Council’s Finance and Integrated Planning Department is looking for a Coordinator Management Accounting to join their team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, coordinate, and prepare key financial reports to Council and the Executive Management Team and plays a key role in coordinating the development of Council’s annual budget, the financial forecasts and preparing the financial reports. In addition, this role provides high level strategic advice, analysis, financial modelling and support across Council through a business partnering model.
This role is critical in developing and maintaining systems, processes, and structures to ensure that financial information is provided to assist in appropriate decision making while providing expert advice to establish and maintain a management accounting, budgeting and integrated planning framework that is consistent with the principles of sound financial management.

This position is a Band 8 currently remunerated between $120,755.58 to $135,203.25 per annum, plus superannuation. Salary level will be based on the experience level of the candidate. Overtime will also be paid as required.
