Franklin University Hiring for Adjunct Faculty-Education Job at Remote Full Time
Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate level Education courses as part of our Bachelor’s in Primary Education (PK-5) program. These 8-week courses on Phonics, Reading Pedagogy, and Diagnostic Reading & Remediation will be taught in an online format during our Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 terms.
Requirements for these positions include a Master’s degree in Education with an elementary reading background and a license to teach grades PK-5. If the degree is in a related area, the candidate should have at least 18 graduate credit hours in the field of Education. A minimum of 5 years of previous experience teaching in elementary schools is also required. Preference will be given to anyone with a reading specialist endorsement and has experience integrating a balanced literacy program.
