FPS Food Process Solutions is a global leader in industrial food freezing equipment. We are rapidly expanding our business and looking for high calibre candidate with Mechanical Engineering background who is willing to learn and grow with the Company. Full training will be provided to the potential candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise and collect operational information based on progress updates for the Production Team

Read drawings and use AutoCAD to make flat patterns for laser cut machines or waterjet machines

Assist in the planning and preparation of production materials and parts.

Assist in the tracking, quality control, and storage of production parts sourced locally and abroad

Ensure equipment and worksite is organized and free of clutter, rubble, and garbage

Abide by the requirements of WorkSafeBC and the safety manual/procedures

Fulfill other manufacturing-related duties as required from time to time

Qualifications & Abilities

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of laser cutting experience preferred

Punctual, strong and reliable work ethics

Ability to read AutoCAD drawings

Ability to work long hours

Ability to follow instructions

Ability to work both independently as well as in a team setting

Possess a positive can-do attitude and a great team player

Experience is an asset, however, full training will be provided
