Position: Controller

Location: Staunton, VA

REPORTS TO: Plant Manager

SALARY RANGE: $90K to$105K

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Plant Controller will provide the financial leadership to maximize long-term value, cash flows and shareholder return. Provides accurate and timely financial reporting to ensure business objectives are met. Will work with cross functional teams to analyze data and provide management with a fair assessment of key projects. Support continuous improvement activities to achieve world class financial reporting standards.

• Partner with plant management and serve as a member of the Site Leadership team.
• Review of month end results: P&L and Balance Sheet including variance analysis.
• Review month end results package for the Plant and present to Regional / Senior Management.
• Oversee monthly close process including but not limited to oversight of Balance Sheet reconciliations and accurate Revenue and Expense reporting.
• Create monthly financial forecasts and analysis.
• Ad hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics to support business requirements.
• Lead the development and analysis of the annual operating plan.
• Oversee SOX Compliance.
• Support Operations with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital spending.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BS Accounting or Finance Degree or a related Business Degree.
• Minimum 3 years in an Accounting role in Manufacturing.
• Must have ERP Systems experience. SAP preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Power Point.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
