Foxtel Hiring for Programme Inventory Finance Manager Job at North Ryde Full Time

• Oversee the accounting for all content, including program inventory, sports rights, channel license fees and production costs, license fee calculations and channel partner reporting
• Ensure accurate delivery of Financial Accounting data, including purposes and aid in other compliance areas such as NEDE and debt covenants
• Oversee ongoing accounting for commercial activities, including commercial license fees, Pay-Per Views and building long lasting and impactful relationships with other internal teams as well as ad-hoc analysis
• Lead, develop and mentor a team but ensure responsibility for review of all balance sheet reconciliations
• Be a key contact for our external auditors for quarterly reviews and the annual audit
• Work closely with the Financial Reporting Manager regarding statutory reporting and shareholder reporting obligations

Your capability

• 5-10 years’ experience in Financial Accounting role (in-house Financial Accounting or Big 4 Chartered role)
• Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline as well as CA qualification
• Proven track record in areas of Financial Accounting, ideally with experience in inventory accounting
• Ability to prioritse workloads to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact at a range of different levels
• Passion for Media and Entertainment and a knowledge of the broadcasting environment
