As part of our rapidly growing, fast paced company, you will be primarily working in a complimentary role capacity with senior planning team members on a variety of tasks. Duties and Responsibilities include

• Assist in developing unique and proprietary customized financial plans
• Working in conjunction with senior planning team members on scheduled client calls
• Learning about the business model of dentistry from senior planning and executive teams
• Aid internal onboarding team with client onboarding consultation development
• Client investment/account maintenance
• Reading/interpreting/constructing financial reporting from/to dental-only clients
• Meeting with clients on an occasional basis in person and/or via phone
• Working with outside firms on behalf of the client to implement strategies from their financial plan
• Communicating with clients concerning ongoing projects
• Light filing and phone experience will be necessary

Financial Planner Traits

• Team player willing to take initiative and proactively follow up with clients/coworkers on outstanding issues without being asked
• High knowledge base of financial plan creation
• Familiarity with interpreting financial data (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, taxes) preferred
• Desire to learn a wide array of subject matter a must
• Interest in investment maintenance including placing orders
• Ability to explain complicated financial concepts in an easily understandable way
• Very organized and strong attention to detail
• Task and deadline driven
• Self starter who does not need to be micro-managed/ability to work independently
• Ability to prioritize and/or seek assistance in determining task priority
• Problem-solving/troubleshooting ability will be necessary
• Great comfort in crafting professional emails
• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Ability and willingness to adapt to changing environment
• Personable attitude and willingness to build relationships with existing clients

Requirements

• 3+ yrs experience preferred working in the financial advisory field
• 2+ yrs experience in communicating with clients
• Undergraduate degree required—Finance/Economics preferred, though any degree in Business will suffice
• Must have a series 65 license currently or willingness to attain a series 65
• Preference given to CFP & MBA designations or candidates
• Outstanding communication skills are necessary
• Investment experience required
• Financial plan creation experience ideal
• Superb time management skills will be needed
• Experience in Excel highly desirable
• Polished phone skills a plus
• Professional appearance a must
• Dental experience a plus
• Multitasking ability necessary
• Mac & PC experience preferred
