Fountain Tire is looking for an dynamic marketing professional to join our team as the Director, Brand & Customer Experience. Duties and responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the Communications & Customer Experience team through effective performance management and daily mentorship, and ensure a continuum of skill development to achieve success.
- Research, develop, pilot and implement (from pilot to fully fielded network) an effective Branding, Digital & Customer Experience Plan that aligns with business goals and the strategic plan; this includes setting measurable and reportable goals.
- Create strategies to elevate the Fountain Tire brand in the key Marketing areas of Promotions, Place, and Perception, and gain buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Lead Market Analysis activities to assist with the Expansion Plan and provide leading indicators to the Product Category team to help with Forecasting and Assortment Plans.
- Transform insight into results by piloting new initiatives with the Operations Team and stores to determine which initiatives should be rolled out to the organization.
- Travel to store locations, zone meetings, corporate meetings/events, and supplier events; develop and deliver presentations tailored to the specific audience.
- Work closely with IT/IS to understand, manage and secure resources for the technology requirements of the customer facing initiatives.
- Implement digital assets including www.fountaintire.com that increase digital engagement and conversions.
- Negotiate and document key supplier relationships and agreements.
- Participate in the annual marketing budget and program funding process.
- Participate in the review, recommendation, and implementation of marketing best practices.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Marketing principles and concepts
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally; this includes excellent communication, influence/persuasion, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Exemplary presentation skills and the ability to deliver initiatives in a clear and concise
- Proven ability to manage projects from inception through to implementation; this includes the creation and maintenance of appropriate documentation
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in marketing
- 10 Years of experience in retail marketing
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading a marketing team
- Experience in dealing with advertising & PR agencies
- Certified Marketing Specialist (Through CMA) would be considered an asset
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket would be considered an asset
