Position Overview

Seeking a motivated Machinist or Fitter/Turner Team Leader to oversee our Machining area. Lead a small team, optimise production processes, and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilise expertise in Fanuc controls, Mill & Lathe CNC, and 3D machining programming for efficient operations.
• Lead and support the team, ensuring smooth Machining area functioning.
• Effective communication with team, management, and other departments.
• Follow instructions and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Trade qualified 1st class Machinist or Fitter/Turner.
• 5+ years experience.
• Proven experience with Fanuc controls, essential Mill & Lathe CNC experience.
• 3D machining programming experience beneficial.
• Reliable and available to start immediately.
• Strong communication skills, ability to follow instructions.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
• Current forklift license preferred but not essential.

Pay and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate: $44-$44/Hr + Super, experience-dependent. Over time, 1.5x on weekdays and Saturday upto 2x.
