Position Overview
Seeking a motivated Machinist or Fitter/Turner Team Leader to oversee our Machining area. Lead a small team, optimise production processes, and maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilise expertise in Fanuc controls, Mill & Lathe CNC, and 3D machining programming for efficient operations.
- Lead and support the team, ensuring smooth Machining area functioning.
- Effective communication with team, management, and other departments.
- Follow instructions and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Trade qualified 1st class Machinist or Fitter/Turner.
- Proven experience with Fanuc controls, essential Mill & Lathe CNC experience.
- 3D machining programming experience beneficial.
- Reliable and available to start immediately.
- Strong communication skills, ability to follow instructions.
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
- Current forklift license preferred but not essential.
Pay and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: $40-42/Hr + Super, experience-dependent. Over time offered to the right candidate.
