About The Role
As an Estimator, you will hold a position in the front office. Responsibilities will range from maintaining customer relationships, preparing detailed quotes / estimates, producing workshop drawings through to visiting sites to make sure your Estimates are accurate. Liaising with Workshop staff assisting them in the fabrication process and managing jobs. Assessing Architectural, Engineering and Workshop drawings to help the Workshop staff and of course ensuring quality delivery to the customer.
Requirements For This Role
- Experienced estimator with a Structural Steel or Timber background.
- Experience preparing detailed Quotes and Estimates.
- Strong understanding of the building process.
- Demonstrated ability to understand Architectural and Engineering drawings.
- Drafting experience would be an advantage.
- Experience doing site visits.
