My Client provides specialised structural steel solutions services to the Mining, Commercial and Industrial industries with extensive and proven capabilities across all aspects of project management, fabrication, supply & install.

In this role you will provide support to the Project Manager and team by ensuring all project documents are managed in accordance with project requirements and company procedures. This will include:

Document Control:

• Implementing document control processes
• Check quality of documentation.
• Monitoring document versions and transmittal activity.
• Setting up project filing systems for each project.
• Coordinating all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
• Inputting document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
• Generating the various document control reports as required.
• Making sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintaining the files and control logs as required by the project.

PA:

• Undertaking a variety of high quality and timely administrative tasks to assist and support the PM for QLD
• Coordinating meetings, job orders and attendance
• Managing travel and accommodation arrangements
• Preparing presentations and reports as directed by GM
• Managing relationships with key customers as required
• Supporting effective Inbox management including flagging urgent emails

To be successful for this role you will need to have:

• Demonstrated working experience in a Document Control position within construction sectors
• Previous work experience in various office administrative roles.
• Excellent computer skills in Word and Excel
• Familiarity with document control software
