Accounts Receivable – Acacia Ridge, Brisbane

Our client are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their growing finance team.

The Role

• Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Collections: Proactively contact customers with overdue accounts, negotiate payment plans, and ensure prompt payment.
• Payment Posting: Accurately record and allocate payments received from customers.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Credit Analysis: Evaluate the creditworthiness of customers, establish credit limits, and monitor credit terms.
• Excel Skills: Utilize good Excel skills, including the use of formulas, to analyze and manage accounts receivable data effectively.
• ing: Maintain detailed records of accounts receivable activities, prepare s for management, and provide insights for decision-making.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their financial needs and concerns professionally.

The Person:

• Minimum 4 years experience in a similar Accounts role
• Relevant knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High level of attention to detail, written and verbal communication and numeracy and literacy skills
• Effective time management and organisational skills
