Fotronic Corporation Hiring for Accounts Payable Specialist Job at Woburn, MA Full Time

Fotronic Corporation “Test Equipment Depot” is a distributor of Electronic Test Equipment. Our National and International accounts include small to large businesses, government agencies, military, and universities.

Working from our office in Woburn, Massachusetts the Accounts Payable Specialist is the primary contact for all Accounts Payables matters. This position will join a team of accounting professionals that cover all aspects of a fast-paced accounting department.

General Responsibilities:

• Primary Company contact for all Accounts Payables matters.
• Receive, enter, and process invoices for expenses and inventory goods for resale purchases.
• Reconciliation of purchase order clearing account. Assist with the resolution of purchase cost variance issues and other invoice discrepancies.
• Process invoices paid by employees’ credit cards and complete monthly reconciliation of the company’s credit card accounts.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment schedules, credits, invoice discrepancies, disputes, and other finance-related inquiries.
• Process check and electronic payments.
• Oversee the filing and managing of Accounts Payable documents
• Cross-train on other Accounting Department functions and perform other support tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of accounting principles as normally attained through a two or four-year college program in accounting, business administration, or related field.
• 4+ years relevant accounting experience.
• Expert-level Excel proficiency including pivot tables, V-Lookups, and advanced formulas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of functional areas. High level of accuracy, detail-oriented, dependable, strong record-keeping, time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour
