PURPOSE
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor and liaison between FormFactor Human Resources, Employees and the Livermore Factory Management team, fostering a positive working environment in all of your interactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Relations

• Partner with Livermore Factory Management to support HR practices necessary for a positive employer-employee relationship
• Assure company policies are administered fairly and consistently throughout the Livermore Factory organization
• Perform advanced employee relations functions including support and counseling regarding personnel and job-related conflicts, problem-solving and dispute resolution, managing employee performance issues, review and assessment of termination requests, conduct exit interviews
• Conduct complex/sensitive workplace investigations

Engagement & Retention

• Promote clear career ladders and development opportunities in the factory
• Promote a high level of employee morale and motivation through engagement activities
• Hold “Office Hours” for employees twice a week (to accommodate the Front & Back Half and Night & Day Shifts)
• In partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team, create and manage an Onboarding Program for Factory labor (temp-to-hire model) with co-employment, engagement and retention in mind
• Proactively manage Temp Conversions in close collaboration with the business, Talent Acquisition, HR Operation, HR Technology and Payroll

General HR Duties

• Ensure timely and accurate entries to the HRIS database
• Maintain employee records in compliance with local, state and federal requirements
• Assist in the execution of annual salary planning, annual stock planning, promotions and salary adjustments
• Effectively communicate and execute necessary changes to policies and procedures
• Support Open Enrollment and other Benefits related programs as needed
• Conduct and/or contribute to employee and Supervisor training including benefits, policies and procedures, and prevention of harassment and discrimination
• Other duties, including HR and Continuous Improvement projects, as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) or equivalent experience; PHR/SPHR certification strongly preferred
• Several years corporate HR experience, ideally in a growing and/or mid-sized organization; manufacturing or retail experience strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner with all levels of management and company personnel
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and make good decisions under pressure
• Ability to work independently and to collaborate
• Positive demeanor and solutions-oriented attitude
• Empathy combined with analytical skills
