With team fit and culture a priority, Forever New is seeking a motivated AP/AR Officer to join our friendly Finance Team on a part-time basis.

This role is responsible for ensuring invoices are entered and paid in a timely manner so relationships with our suppliers are well managed, whilst also ensuring our concession and wholesale customers are invoiced and pay on time. The AP/AR Officer role is supported by a full time Senior AP Officer and the Finance Operations Team Leader.

This role is Part-Time, 3 days per week on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Domestic & International Invoice entry
• Reconciling Supplier/Customer accounts
• Allocating/Receipting payments
• Invoicing customers
• Debtor/Creditor reporting
• Support month end process
• General Ledger Reconciliations
• Other Administrative Duties

Forever Candidate

You have a minimum of 3 year’s experience in an Accounts Payable role and have completed your High School studies. You are self-motivated to problem solve and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. With intermediate/Advanced MS Excel skills you can process accurate and high volume transactions at a good pace.

Key Skills

• Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance, accounting (or equivalent) or studying towards.
• Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills
• Effective interpersonal, communication and networking abilities
• Be a collaborative personality who thrives in a team, as well as independently
• Have the ability and desire to work under pressure, working to tight deadlines
• Ability to manage, analyse and manipulate large volumes of data
• Proficiency using NetSuite (advantage)
