About the Role

Analysts are the data scientists behind our brands. Conducting advanced analytics using state-of-the-art methodology, Analysts test and interrogate data to reveal the hidden truths lying untapped in the consumer psyche. Our Analysts work closely with Consultants to transform data into driving meaning and insight.

• Research design, defining objectives;
• Sampling considerations, data collection, data management, data preparation;
• Analysis of primary research survey data and/or client behavioural data, model building and model evaluation;
• Provide effective communication and interpretation of analysis approach;
• Simulations using the model;
• Providing quality, rigorous accurate analytical services;
• Interpreting analysis findings and implications in a clear and compelling manner to key stakeholders;
• Contributing to draft proposals, s and presentations for clients;
• identifying value add recommendations using Forethought tools and methodologies
• Provide thought leadership to the team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate an outstanding academic record, preferably with a PhD, and or a strong psychological or econometrics background would be an advantage. To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

• An ability to think analytically, using data to inform decision-making,
• Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for problem-solving,
• Exposure to research projects, planning projects and working to deadlines,
• An ability to work with a variety of data, manage, analyse and model data,
• Running analyses such as modelling, clustering, machine learning methods, artificial intelligence, forecasting,
• Experience using SPSS, R, Python, SAS, SQL or other statistical packages,
• Predictive Analytics combined with business-facing aspects,
• Modelling insights to evaluate media effectiveness, for example, media mix modelling,
• A strong customer service focus, building both internal and external relationships,
• The ability to work autonomously but also within a team environment managing different stakeholder expectations,
• Willingness to anticipate needs and exceed firm standards to get the job done,
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, translating complex quantitative information in to logical and meaningful recommendations.
