Forest River, Inc., the Nation’s largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses, and Boats has an immediate opening.

• Responsibilities :
• Applicable understanding of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for US & Canada.
• Work with Engineering Mgmt. to establish & Implement “Design Standards” & “Best Practices”.
• Manages Outside consulting companies that Work with Various State Agencies Concerning Environmental Emissions, Storm Water emissions, and Hazardous Waste for Multiple Plants.
• Manage and Work with Outside Consulting Companies and Suppliers of Plant Radios to Maintain FCC licensing for Multiple Plants.
• Has a Working Knowledge of NFPA 1192, Z240, and ANSI LV Electrical.
• Has a Working Knowledge of Recreational Vehicle Structure and Good Analytical Abilities for Design and Structure Modifications to Remove Recurring Warranty Issues.
• Has a Working Knowledge of The North American Free Trade Agreement and can Maintain the CUSMA-USMCA forms.
• Additional requirements / qualification :
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline – Required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems (Win10 / Win7 / etc…) – Required.
• Knowledge of AutoDesk products and services, Required.
• Additional AutoDesk or MS Certifications are beneficial, but not required.
• Dependable transportation – Required.
• Smartphone for communications – Required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs. Required lifting is associated with equipment installation.
