A successful Brand Marketing Copywriter at Forcepoint is obsessed with great storytelling in all of its short, long, digital, print and multimedia forms. They also have the ability to translate technical content into digestible and compelling narratives targeting defined buying personas. The Forcepoint Brand Marketing Copywriter will also have an opportunity to keep their writing skills sharp across many types of content styles including brand and commercial product thought leadership, campaigns and demand generation, blogs and social media, white papers, webinars, website copy and more.
The Brand Marketing Copywriter is an integral member of the corporate marketing team delivering cross functional support across brand marketing, demand generation and product marketing. All marketing professionals at Forcepoint are critical thinkers with a strong business acumen. Cybersecurity experience is strongly preferred, and a portfolio of enterprise B2B- and technology-related writing samples is a must.

The Brand Marketing Copywriter s to the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing. This role is preferably based in Forcepoint’s Austin, TX headquarters. Remote candidates will also be considered.
Essential Functions

Content Development and Management: Conceives and executes marketing content consistent with the company’s brand and campaign strategy
- Conceptualize: Conceptualize clear, concise and convincing writing that is grammatically and materially accurate; Develop concepts and/or storyboards.
- Demand Generation: Create effective content to generate demand through various channels including but not limited to digital advertising, email, paid search, search engine optimization, and social media
- Brand and Product Leadership: Craft short and long-form marketing content including but not limited to executive bylines and blog posts, webinars, white papers, e-books, website copy, and on
- Research: Stay current with trends and the latest technological advances within the industry and relevant adjacent markets.

Content Strategy and Narrative Thread: Ensure narrative cohesiveness content strategy throughline across the various stages of the customer journey lifecycle from awareness to advocacy –across myriad marketing channels and content planning in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Process: maintains efficient content lifecycle process and manages multiple projects of varying scopes simultaneously; manages strategic editorial calendar; Ensure adherence to brand voice and tone standards
- Best Practices: Advise and consult Marketing teams on content best practices and recommendations
- SME Partnerships: Work closely with subject matter experts to understand core products and industry trends to support informed, effective content; Work seamlessly with cross functional partners both within and outside of Marketing
Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in the technology industry with most recent experience within enterprise, B2B and/or security technology segments; a combination of in-house and agency experience a plus
- Experience working collaboratively within a marketing team.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience producing quality work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent writer and communicator, detail oriented, strong organization and prioritization skills, self-motivated, able to work independently, easily adapts to change, adept at learning new and complex technology themes, and excels at problem solving
- Proven experience writing copy to achieve SEO goals.
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Critical thinker with strong business acumen
- Passion for brand journalism and customer story telling at all stages of the funnel
- Cultural curiosity and global mindset
- Familiarity with Windows/Mac environments and business productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and online content management tools (e.g. Adobe, Drupal, WordPress, etc.); Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
