Industrial Sales Representative

A leading manufacturer of high-quality conveyor and power transmission belting and accessories has an opening for an experienced industrial sales rep in the Vancouver, BC area.

Forbo Movement Systems is a global industry leader for sophisticated conveyor and processing belts, synthetic modular belts, top-quality power transmission belts, as well as timing and flat belts made of synthetic materials. These products are known under the brand name Siegling. They are used in a wide range of applications in industry, trade, and the service sector, including conveyor and processing belts in the food industry, treadmill belts in fitness studios, and flat belts in mail distribution centers.

We are looking for an Industrial Sales Representative to help us increase sales and address customer needs within this specific region. Strive to achieve maximum sales volume within market segments with both product lines and services.

Territory Sales Representative responsibilities include presenting our products and services to potential clients and identifying ways to promote and sell our products. Technical skills are a requirement, conveyor surveys requiring good mathematical skills are necessary. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated to meet sales goals.

TERRITORY: VANCOUVER, BC AREA

Basic functions include but are not limited to:

• Call on existing customers and obtain new business through the sale of industrial belting and accessories.

• Build and maintain excellent customer relations.

• Seeking an energetic, computer literate individual with some expertise in sales and developing relationships.

Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and/or equivalent experience preferably in an industrial sales/manufacturing environment.

• Should have two (2) years of experience in outside sales and be available for overnight travel.

• Must be available for travel as necessary.

Compensation is base salary and commissions.
