Description
We’re looking for a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to help create the best possible candidate experiences, improve our employer brand and be a true brand ambassador for Footasylum. The role will cover a range of business areas, with a view point to developing your role and skills to specialise in particular areas.
Our head office is based in Rochdale and we are working in a hybrid way, whilst we adjust to this new way working post Covid-19. Our expectation is that you will be in the office at least a couple of days a week.
Being a part of the Footasylum Talent Attraction Team has a range of differing responsibilities including identifying current and future hiring needs, advertising job openings online and designing employee referral programs. To be successful in this role, you should have an understanding of the process of being a candidate, be empathetic to the business needs and experience in sourcing, interviewing and evaluating candidates.

The Team
You’ll be working as part of a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists who cover different departments across the company. Our vision for this role will for it to cover roles based in Head Office, with the long term ambition for the role to specialise and partner with a few key departments.
Our service strategy is to be business partners with the department, becoming intrinsic and being seen as a ‘trusted advisor’ to the departments you support. This works brilliantly for us and has resulted in some of our team even going to work in the departments they support!
About You
You don’t need any recruitment experience, but we are keen to see a passion for Talent Acquisition or HR.
