We are looking for a Marketing Project Manager to join our dynamic, “all-hands-on-deck” team! (Please note, this is an on-site role, in Roanoke, VA.)

A typical day in the life for our project manager? We’re a go-go-go company with an ambitious project list; we need an assertive and energetic project leader! If you’re a tactical, organized, diligent, and highly communicative marketing operations driver, we want to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our company’s marketing efforts (and our team) help Foot Levelers achieve our immediate and long-term business goals.

Key Marketing Project Manager responsibilities include:

• Serve as project lead for the marketing team, assisting with start-to-finish campaign implementation
• Coordinate projects and monitor approvals to ensure all deadlines are met
• Track and monitor progress among the marketing team members
• Collaborate with the creative team members to produce promotional materials
• Organize promotional activities for new products/services
• Manage coordination and communications interdepartmentally (Customer Service, Sales, and IT)
• Create a content calendar for the company’s emails, print (publications), blogs and social media accounts
• Build and maintain external vendor relationships
• Create project timelines and budgets
• Liaise with graphic designers to create print and digital advertisements
• Partner with staff copywriters and commission freelancers to create blogs, email, and web content as needed

Our ideal Marketing Project Manager checks these boxes:

• Proven project management expertise; you’ve worked in a similar role for a busy, cross-functional team (PMP certification a plus)
• Solid computer skills to include Customer Relationship Management & Content Management System software
• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills; you have a track record of “success stories” to prove it!
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools & familiarity with SEO/SEM campaigns and terminology – “nice to have” but not deal breakers!
