Job Summary

Focused Staffing Group is seeking a special education teacher for their North Washington, DC partner. We are growing very quickly and need to open new classrooms to accommodate the influx of students. We are looking for the right teacher not just a certification. Our current teachers have cited a good quality of life as a key factor for their satisfaction when they chose to became a part of our team.

All background checks are required. We have developed a model that allows our teachers to spend their time teaching with lots of support from well-trained high-quality staff and administration.

Our academy is expanding quickly, and we are seeking a dedicated employee to support the positive school culture we have created. There will be extensive training in behavior intervention and climate management. The position is full-time, and we have a strong benefits package.

We are looking to hire both a High School teacher with special education certification and an elementary teacher with a special education certification.

Responsibilities and Duties

Full-time classroom instruction and all other duties.

Qualifications and Skills

Special education experience preferred. Experience in emotional support setting preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
