JOB TITLE: Business Office Manager

S TO: ADMINISTRATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:

The regional business office manager position directs the overall administrative, billing and bookkeeping needs, according to State and Federal guidelines and regulations. Provides billing support to the multiple communities that they support. Incumbents may provide secretarial, bookkeeping, receptionist, accounting, cashier, payroll, data input, clerical, and other services for the corporations business operations. Good interpersonal skills needed to work with residents, families, and outside agencies effectively. Must be organized with attention to detail, prioritize appropriately, and meet deadlines. Must be willing to travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least one (1) year of experience billing Medicaid
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry
• At least (1) year of LTC experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide support and training to the business office managers within the communities.
• Provide assistance through the Medicaid process.
• Maintenance of accounts as needed
• Continual review of outstanding balances and determining what steps to take to collect balances
• Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations

WORK SCHEDULE:

As assigned, including some weekends, evenings and holidays; non-exempt position

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
