JOB TITLE: HR Coordinator
S TO: Talen Acquisition Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resource Coordinator will plan, manage, and coordinate human resource activities for a group of facilities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance. This position provides day to day general support to employees and management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Previous experience in Human Resources and recruiting in the healthcare setting.
· Knowledge of labor and employment laws. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with impeccable attention to detail.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) products, as well as Internet savvy.
· Excellent organizational, time management and telephone etiquette skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Conducts all new employee orientation, new hire set up, paperwork processing and personnel data for each Community.
· Coordinates with Payroll to ensure status changes, promotions, and terminations are completed properly and responds to questions as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
WORK SCHEDULE:
As assigned, including some weekends, evenings and holidays; non-exempt position
