We are now recruiting for a Finance Manager

The Financial Operations team is responsible for ensuring the efficient financial management of the Group, including the necessary controls and procedures are in place to support all business activities. This role plays a pivotal role in a private equity backed organisation which continues to experience high organic growth combined with multiple acquisitions every year.

This role will support the Head of Financial Operations in overseeing end to end financial operations such as managing the month end close process, ensuring regular balance sheet reviews and being closely involved with the integration of new acquisitions. The Finance Manager will be leading and developing a team.

Main duties of this role are:

• Manage and develop a month end timetable to ensure that reporting deadlines are delivered
• Ownership of month end reporting files and outputs
• Managing a team, ensuring on-going development of both process and individuals
• Take responsibility for ensuring that balance sheet reconciliations are complete and reviewed on a quarterly basis
• Ensure that the correct accounting treatment is always applied
• Lead on ad-hoc projects such as R&D, acquisition support
• Deputy for Head of Financial Operations. Support for Director of Finance and CFO as required
• Key point of business support for Senior Management Team

You will be a self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new processes and offer solutions to problems as they arise. As part of a rapidly evolving team in a high growth environment the role will provide a wide range of career development opportunities for the right individual (for example exposure to large acquisition facility, investment rounds and so on).

It would be beneficial if you come from a practice background, have experience using SAGE 200 and have previously managed people.
