FNC Bank Hiring for Accounting Associate Job at New Richmond, WI Full Time

The Accounting Associate role is an on-site, full-time position based in our New Richmond, WI branch location. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM.

This role is included in our Saturday rotation schedule every 6-8 weeks. Saturday hours are 8:00AM-12:00PM.

Duties and responsibilities of the Accounting Associate include:

• Working directly with customers either by phone, electronically, or face to face

• Ability to research, reconcile, and resolve issues and problems with customer accounts

• Process incoming and outgoing wires, ACH, and returns

• Assist in reporting functions related to Chexsystem and the Federal Reserve

• Perform necessary reconciliation of bank accounts

• Assist with remote deposit capture and cash management customers

• Process unposted charge backs and non-sufficient funds

• Submit interest earned on interest-bearing real estate trust accounts & lawyer trust accounts

• Order foreign currency as needed

• Process, verify, and monitor stop payments and WSUD’s

• Maintenance, payment processing, and other assistance with safe deposit box entries

• Ability to research and provide documentation for summons or subpoena requests, levies/garnishments, and reclamations

• Preparation and assistance with internal/external audits as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree with relevant work history preferred
• Excellent communication skills required; ability to work in a team environment, learn quickly, and apply knowledge as needed
• Proficient in computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and customer privacy in all situations

Software Operating Requirements Include:

• Familiarity with Windows
• Microsoft Office Suite products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams
• Core Bank Software (Jack Henry)

• Pay is commensurate with education & experience, starting at $19.00/hour+

• Shift differential of $2/hr on top of your regular/OT rate for hours worked on Saturday’s
