Responsibilities:


Tracking Responsibilities:

Request account updates from collectors according to tracking schedule to ensure the latest account information will be reflected in reports.
Responsible for providing timely updates to Account Teams, including premium status and other related account information.
Maintain complete and accurate Tracker calendar and schedule as agreed with Account Teams and Collections.
Maintain accounts receivable records so that premiums can be collected, identified, and cleared in a timely manner.
Provide accurate reports on incoming payments and invoice status to supervisor per schedule.
Assist the supervisor with other duties as assigned.


Accounting Responsibilities:

Analyze, research, and reconcile large, multi-national, complex payments that may include various currencies.
Ensure accurate and timely allocation of incoming funds payments.
Effectively communicate with Brokers, Insureds, World Reach Partner Companies (WRP), corporate staff and/or operations worldwide to resolve discrepancies.
Process outgoing claims or premium payments in an expedited manner; research and resolve any issues that may arise.
Review open credits due to Brokers, Insureds or WRPs to determine if they are available for payment, arrange payment when applicable and send remittance details.
Work with Collections to research and resolve payment discrepancies.
Import and maintain supporting documentation for A/R related activities to ensure compliance with document retention policies.
Assist the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and/or Manager with other duties as deemed appropriate.

Qualifications:


Qualifications:

  • Finance/Accounting Degree preferred!
  • 1-3 years experience in accounts receivable, payment application, transactions or related area


Preferred Experience:

  • PeopleSoft/Oracle
  • Previous Finance/Accounting/Insurance background
  • Calendar Management
  • Working with foreign currencies
