IT Account Manager (Education) – Must have experience of selling IT solutions to schools, preferably Managed Services

We are looking for Account Managers in London, the Home Counties and the Midlands and looking to pay up to £50k basic with an additional comp plan of 50% of basic plus car allowance

The role reports to the UK Head of Sales, is field-based & customer facing, responsible for a portfolio of existing clients with the intent of up-selling a clearly defines set of products and services.
The sales organisation is backed by a comprehensive on-boarding programme and will be supported by a high-quality marketing and social media calendar.
You will be based from home but have the use of satellite offices.
Main Responsibilities
· Execute against a clear engagement model and customer development framework into a portfolio of existing customers
· Build a detailed understanding of the customer environment, frameworks, competitor landscape and politics to determine key growth areas.
· Play a key role in governance and reviewing progress while also seeking opportunities to expand scope
· Work collaboratively with specialists across all lines of the business
· Support contract renewal & Bids and Tenders into their portfolio
· Leverage identified product & services to upselling and increase share of school spend
· Work collaboratively with engineering and service delivery organisation to effect high levels of service delivery
The Ideal Candidate
· Driven sales professional with the desire to develop accounts and win business
· Understanding of selling IT into schools is mandatory
· Extensive relevant sales experience in an IT environment with evidence of exceeding targets
· Must be able to demonstrate effective management of customer relationships
· Ability to manage stakeholders across all levels both internally and externally
· Understanding and appreciation of competitors and their strategies
· Will have experience of using a CRM effectively
· Excellent Communication & presentation skills
