Storeroom Clerk

Summary: Stocks parts and materials, and issues inventory to customers. Regular work schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Complies with all Fluor and client safety requirements and programs.
• Issue material in SAP (MB1A) from a work order or issue log sheet.
• Inventory material on issue log before issuing.
• Help customers find needed materials in SAP and in the storeroom.
• Help receiver put away stock, ensuring stock is rotated.
• Compare material part number and description to the sticker when restocking. Flag for review anything that does not match.
• Do not have more than one storage location for an item. If overflow is necessary, move materials around so the material can all be stored in one location.
• Remove debris in storage locations when identified.
• Replace stickers as identified bad when necessary.
• Ensure all materials on log sheet are issued by the end of business that day.
• Always look for items out of place and find their proper home.
• Perform daily ing, such as MRP and cycle counts.
• Cross train to be fluent in the shipping/receiving process when support is required and as a relief during daily lunch breaks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year experience in inventory control, stockroom, material handling, or parts issuing.
