LET’S TALK ABOUT THE ROLE:
Due to several internal promotions, we are on the hunt for energetic, hard-working, and talented individuals to join our Processing team. Processing Team Members (PTMs) provide on-site support within harvesting, trimming, drying/curing of cannabis under the direction of the department supervisor to ensure high quality. The position requires a high attention to detail, willingness to learn about cannabis and the operation of automated equipment while adhering to standard work procedures. PTMs can expect to be working wearing double hearing protection and facemasks and will be in contact with Isopropyl Alcohol and cannabis debris.

How will you make an impact?

A snapshot into your day when you’re working in Harvest:

• Perform cutting of plants when growing is complete
• Transport plants from Flower room to Trim room to be processed
• Ensure all cannabis waste, plant matter is cleaned up removed to designated waste room.

.. and when you’re working in Trim, Dry/Cure:

• Trimming Flowr product using primarily automated methods
• Perform Drying and curing activities under the direction of the Dry/Cure Lead
• Weighing trimmed product and storing to Flowr standards
• Perform department reprocessing of equipment and automated machinery daily.
• Participate in monthly major cleans of all Trim Cure rooms

You will also be responsible for a few other general duties:

• Responsible for the cleanliness of all tools, equipment and Flowr property.
• Reporting any deviations found with respect to instructions, process or materials used.
• Assist with general cultivation, quality and safety and other duties as needed.

Who we’re looking for!

• You are no stranger to a manufacturing or production environment, including, but not limited to Food and Bev production and/or lean manufacturing. If you don’t have any production experience, we would still love to meet you if you are confident you can perform the duties above
• Past team members would tell us you communicate clearly, you’re always reliable and you prioritize time-management
• You’re comfortable with a reasonable, safe workout on the job, you’ll be expected to regularly lift heavy shipments, so you must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs
• You thrive in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
