JOB DESCRIPTION

To maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the Midland, Texas market. Guide staff by performing physical inventory, cycle counts, receipts, adjustments, audits, and reconciliation.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
• Ensure that each warehouse has a product identification and location program
• Oversee adjustments of all types (scrap, goodwill, warranty, waste, return to vendor, inventory adjustment) and ensure that they are captured in the correct general ledger
• Oversee the inventory control function at each assigned facility
• Responsible for performing random inventory audits every quarter and findings to inventory manager
• Oversee open purchase orders and maintaining accurate receipts at each assigned facility weekly
• Send weekly valuation, open sales orders, and open purchase order s to staff at each facility
• Coordinate efforts across sales, accounting and purchasing to enhance inventory accuracy
• Schedule monthly meetings with Inventory Manager to discuss metrics, trends, and analysis
• Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels
• Work with district managers on upcoming forecast and demand to keep inventory levels maintained
• Maintain a +/- 2% yearly variance of the total warehouse value
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• At least 5-7 years of inventory experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with ERP systems
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as a part of the job function
• Must be able to pass a forklift certification test and drive a forklift daily if needed
• Must have a history of job stability
• Must pass background screening and drug test
