Florida State University Alumni Association Hiring for Director of Membership and Marketing at Tallahassee, Florida Full Time

This position is responsible for directing efforts to generate external revenue for the alumni association through the development of membership programs, travel, and brick sales. Provides leadership for and directs efforts with regard to projecting annual membership revenues, managing an annual budget and tracking complex data that informs membership revenue progress. Reports directly to the President of the Association.

Develop and implement a complex membership marketing calendar and tracking methods to assess results; Oversee FSU alumni membership acquisition and retention including member services, benefits and recognition. Work collaboratively with the FSU Alumni Association Communications team on e-solicitation campaigns, digital platform campaigns, direct mail, and other strategies to grow membership and member-related income.

Manage staff responsible for revenue generating programs such as Westcott Brick campaign, travel programs; Oversee budgeting as well as billing and receipt of revenue in a timely manner to support budget expectations. Support SAA membership initiatives and special membership projects.

Identify best practices through market research and track high-level analytics; Research potential new benefits and offerings to add value to being a member while adeptly addressing positive university impact of membership; Serve as member of the FSU alumni leadership team and develop broad understanding of the university in order to develop collaborative partnerships to benefit membership growth and engagement.

Supervise Assistant Membership Director(s) and develop internship opportunity to support the dynamic, consistent workflow of the office; Ensure the Membership and Marketing team provides outstanding customer service to promote goodwill and further engagement with FSU.

Serve as the Board of Directors membership and marketing committee liaison keeping them informed of comprehensive campaign calendar and content review. Other duties as assigned.
