Job Summary
The College Recruiter is responsible for assisting and mentor students through the admissions process to FIU Online programs.
Engages in phone calls, emails and general inquiry management for prospective online graduate/undergraduate applicants to assist with the completion of the application process.
Works with the program managers/enrollment processing/admissions to identify applicants who are eligible for review through conference calls or other communication modalities.
Meets enrollment target goals for the College/School/Department.
Documents scanning and uploading attaching to the application; Imaging and indexing admissions’ files.
Hosts program specific information sessions via Adobe Connect or other virtual meeting technologies.
Promotes undergraduate and graduate programs through scheduled events, open houses and college fairs.
Prepares appropriate communications based on admissions committee recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience or a Master’s degree.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working with students in an educational setting.
Experience in a sales environment.
Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Knowledgeable in the FERPA federal law
Knowledgeable in web conferencing and video editing tools such as Zoom and Camtasia
