Description:

Perform accounting and reporting functions, and financial analysis in agriculture and industrial operations and perform financial analysis work including evaluating various types of information, both financial and operational.

Summary of Primary Duties:

• Cost accounting.
  • Perform cost accounting activities covering material and production costs, costs of sales, overhead, etc.
  • Analyze production costs following company’s cost accounting system.
  • Analyze actual production costs and prepare periodic reports comparing budget costs to actual production costs.
  • Analyze costs for reasonability, accuracy, and efficiency while identifying variances and reasons for variance.
• Analysis. Gather and review cost and operational data to develop various types of analyses
• Reporting. Compile, review and distribute management and operating reports to team leaders.
• Enhancements. Work internally and with other departments to enhance existing processes creating time and/or cost savings.
• Month End Closing. Work with the accounting team to complete monthly closing process.
• Miscellaneous Tasks. Completion of miscellaneous tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• 
  Analysis experience
• 
  Quick worker, but thorough and accurate
• 
  Excellent organizational skills
• 
  Advanced MS Excel skills

Preferred

• 
  SAP ERP experience
• 
  Bilingual – Spanish
