About this role:

We’re searching for a Social Media, Graphic Design and Content Creation superstar to help us take all of our visual and digital content to the next level. From filming video content and taking and editing photos of beautiful blooms for our socials, to helping us build a portfolio of Floraly brand ambassadors and crafting beautiful web banners and EDM hero images, no two days will ever be exactly alike. 

Roles & responsibilities:

• Create and capture new, engaging and beautiful content (photography and video) both ad hoc and on planned filming days for use across our various digital channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, EDM and website) — everything from cool flowers to behind the scenes and trending clips
• Curate our Instagram feed and schedule posts for publication across social media channels throughout the week
• Retouch photos and edit videos for social media, ensuring consistency and a fast turnaround without compromising on quality
• Create simple but beautiful graphics and gifs using Canva (or other design software as needed), such as EDM hero images, promotional banners and Instagram stories
• Be the main point of contact for our Instagram community, responding to comments on our posts, engaging with accounts we follow, answering direct messages where appropriate, reposting UGC etc
• Assist in micro-influencer outreach and building a portfolio of Floraly brand ambassadors
• Lead partner outreach initiatives, finding new and well-aligned brands for Floraly to collaborate with on giveaways and promotions
• Write fun, informative and engaging captions for social media posts, in line with Floraly’s brand voice
• Brainstorm new and creative content ideas, particularly for video shoots, and be willing to put forward your ideas to the wider team
• Stay on top of the latest social media trends and best practices and apply them to Floraly’s content wherever possible
• Assist on photoshoot days, including gathering all products and accessories needed, styling the flowers, arranging products beautifully for banner imagery, holding the flowers for photography etc

About you:

• Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere or other photo/video (including iPhone) editing software will be highly regarded
• Experience in creating editing and posting engaging video content on TikTok and Instagram
• Excellent eye for detail and design, and a creative flair that you can bring to all of Floraly’s visual and written content
• Up to date with all the latest trends on social media
• Photo and video-editing and graphic design skills 
• Copywriting skills
• Confident reaching out to existing and potential brand partners, including direct messaging, emailing or phoning them
• Proactive in your approach to your work — you’re happy to go out and do it without being asked
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, and ability to multi-task and to prioritise your tasks based on importance and time sensitivity
• Agile and flexible individual who’s willing to take on new responsibilities beyond the scope of the role outlined above — we are a fast-growing start-up with a small team and love to develop and promote from within!
