Flora Organic Landscape Maintenance Hiring for Landscape Maintenance Assistant Job at Portland, OR Full Time

Flora Organic Landscape Maintenance is hiring an experienced landscaper. The right candidate for this job will possess knowledge of plants and plant care, maintenance equipment and techniques, and the ability to work and follow instructions as part of a team. Knowledge of organic gardening is a plus. Our requirements include:

* At least one year experience as a professional landscaper
* Ability to lift 60 lbs. and work quickly and efficiently
* Ability to pass a background check
* Proficiency in speaking and writing English is a plus
* References that indicate reliability and responsibility, detail oriented and efficiency in yard care, good safety record, and ability to work effectively as part of a team

The right candidate will begin on a two week trial basis with compensation of $15/hour. After the 14 day trail period, pay will be $16/hour plus benefits (paid holidays, PTO, and healthcare). This position will be approximately 40+ hours per week through the fall. It is primarily seasonal and the work load may decrease in December – February.
