The Schools Management & Information Team within the Business Support Section of the Education & Youth Portfolio, are seeking to appoint a full time Management Information Officer. The postholder will be responsible for the maintenance of the data held on the central pupil database (ONE) ensuring the pupil data is complete and accurate.

The ONE system is the Authority’s software tool for supporting a range of pupil support services within the Portfolio and wider service areas. The externally provided software is a complex relational database supporting approximately 24,000 active pupil records.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to lead on pupil data exchange processes between the Authority and schools, implement processes and routines to ensure data accuracy and integrity across the database, develop data reporting and analysis solutions for authority services, and to provide front line support to schools and services around data management and exchange.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant relevant experience, be a highly motivated and driven individual with ability to work in a small team who provide support to a wide range of education services.
