Flint Corp is Looking For Pipefitter Virtual Hiring Event at Fort McMurray, AB Full Time

Pipefitter Responsibilities:
Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.

Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.

Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic, and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.

Join pipe sections, and related equipment and secure in position.

Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.

Maintain and repair piping systems.

Requirements:
Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification.

Valid CSTS-20, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, and CSO (Common Safety Orientation) tickets.

Valid AWP (Aerial Work Platform), Fall Protection, and Confined Space- Entry tickets are assets.

Experience with hydro testing an asset.

Enjoy a varied workload.

Must have your own reliable transportation.

Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
