Flight Centre (UK) Limited Hiring for Transactional Finance Team Member Job at New Malden, England Full Time

This role is a highly team based role, working closely and flexibly with other team members and team leads in Transactional finance and across the Leisure Business in which you will support.
To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate about operational excellence with a desire to learn end to end workflows in detail, not just in Finance but from the start of the transaction within the Leisure front end operation. The individual will be able to trouble shoot and resolve queries. A key aspect of the role will be that of problem solving.
By being subject matter experts, team members will be able to ensure that the ever-evolving transactional processes are robust, streamlined and limit risk and fraud.
The role will have the following focus:

• Embedding newly designed processes, ensuring all key operational success metrics are in place, tracked and reported in a timely manner
• Ensure all key controls are in place and fit for purpose
• Foster strong working relationships with the off shore teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Ensure appropriate SLAs are in place with front end businesses and the correct processes are in place to monitor and track performance against these SLAs.
• Establish the appropriate communication channels and ensure they are operating effectively to ensure Transactional Finance is delivering on its commitments to front end businesses and their consultants
• Individually and collectively drive a heightened level of customer focus in all dealings with front end businesses, external clients and suppliers.

Key Performance Objectives:
1) Process Ownership : Efficiency / Improvement

• Continuous review of all processes to deliver on going efficiencies and frictionless processing of financial transactions.
• On going training and rollout of new and enhanced processes across the UK based team and offshored functions.
• Working with other transactional finance teams, (including Risk), to ensure seamless end to end transactional flows.
• Continuous review and analysis of productivity and SLA statistics to identify opportunities for improvement.

2) Customer Focused

• First line support for consultants, handling and resolving queries
• Firstline support and query resolution for clients and suppliers, in relation to remittances and payables.
• Set up of new customers and suppliers, including banking, credit card and merchant facilities.

Criteria of Successful Candidate:

Salary £24k-£28k depending on experience
Location: Hybrid working- 3 days in New Malden/2 days WFH available
Working Hours- Monday-Friday (37.5hrs)
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
