To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Engineering Manager located in Austin, TX.

ing to the Director, Operations Engineering the Engineering Manager Responsible for leading a team of engineers working to improve engineering capabilities in order to support manufacturing of medical devices.

What a typical day looks like :

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
• Establish and improve process capabilities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery and cost expectations.
• Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Improve throughput in constrained areas.
• Develop, test and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and / or lower cost and lead cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
• Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Lead initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce

The experience we’re looking to add to our team :

• Minimum of 9 years of the experience
• 4-5 years of managerial experience.
• Former Engineering Manager in a medical device or pharma plant
• Experience with continuous improvement projects and teams
• Managed at least 5 IDL, engineers or something equivalent
• Compliance experience, have managed corrective and preventative actions for engineering and change controls for projects-
• Previous experience maintenance or reliability leadership
