About The Role*

The focus of this role will be to manage our small and dynamic HR Team (3 members) and run people management across our European offices (London, Budapest and Dusseldorf). The role will be hands-on but also include strategic aspects, providing advice and support on all HR matters. The role will report to Flexion’s Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities: *

• Work in close partnership with Flexion’s management to prepare and implement HR strategy
• Support managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters
• Managing all HR team members in our 3 offices
• Keep up to date with EU & UK employment legislation
• Manage investigations and employee relations issues including redundancy, grievance, and disciplinary issues
• Ensure employee relation are managed to meet best practice requirements
• Develop and maintain HR policies
• Monitor and develop performance appraisal systems
• Monitor all employee records to include maternity, paternity requests and absence /sickness and provide regular reports to the senior management team
• Coordinate work placement, intern and apprenticeship processes
• Manage Flexion’s HR software platform – Bamboo HR
• Manage and improve starter and leaver procedures
• Supervise all sponsorship and visa related projects across our 3 branch offices
• Prepare and upload Payroll/Pension reports for employees
• Conduct regular calls with employees and check of staff wellbeing
• Support with internal recruitment

Requirements:

• Qualified CIPD member or EU-equivalent
• Proven HR generalist experience and team management
• Up-to-date knowledge of EU and UK employment law
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience of recruitment and interviews at a senior level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional planning and project management skills and experience
