Flexible Automation, Inc Hiring for Automation Field Service Manager Full Time

Flexible Automation, a 39-year-old engineering company that produces custom assembly and material handling automation machines, is growing and looking for a Service Manager. This would be a perfect opportunity for a Controls Engineer / Programmer looking to make the jump into Management.

This position will be responsible for managing automation service work. This includes creating the cost estimate, formal proposal writing, coordinating resources, and tracking costs. In many cases, our existing customers request service, and the Service Manager will need to react accordingly. However, there is the opportunity to grow the Service Business Unit for Flexible Automation by seeking out new customers and mining existing databases.

Responsibilities Include:

· Identify Suspects and Prospects that would be a good fit for FAI.

· Build relationships with Suspects, Prospects, and Customers to obtain opportunities to quote.

· Develop pricing estimates, proposals and service contracts and then present them to customers.

· Process service orders utilizing standard processes.

· Manage service projects, including resource selection, logistics and technical oversight.

· Work with the Controls Manager and Assembly Manager, ensuring the correct resources have been assigned.

· Assist with invoice input support and collections when FAI’s accounting department requires.

· Recruiting talent for the FAST team.

Experience in the Industrial Automation industry is required. Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, and ABB desired.

Service / Project Management experience, including prospecting customers, responding to quotes and project oversight, is required.

Recruiting / talent acquisition experience is a bonus.

Compensation is competitive, commensurate with experience and includes semi-annual profit sharing.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
