We are looking for a dynamic, hard-working IT Administrator to maintain the company’s IT network, servers and security systems. This role is absolutely essential to ensure business continuity and prevent the impact on the day to day running of the business should the system fail.
Key Responsibilities:
1st /2nd /3rd Tier helpdesk support
log and prioritise end-user faults and queries
resolve user faults , where necessary, by assigning to other team members or by logging with external vendors
installation of servers.
installation and maintenance of PCs, thin clients and printers
installation of PC based software applications
ensure that adequate and appropriate backups are taken and security arrangements maintained
ensure that software is installed correctly and that licenses are safely stored and license count adhered to
ensure that virus checking software is up-to-date, installed and working on all relevant systems
ensure that relevant documentation is developed and maintained in order to support the function
provide advice and technical support to end-users regarding specific operational and applications issues
provide technical assistance to the IT team as appropriate
identify data and information, which suggest developing patterns of problems or complaints, from which general or specific trends and patterns can be discerned, suggesting a need for further investigation
ensure that stocks of IT-related consumables are maintained
assist in end-user training
assist in the development of documentation for end-user training and user-guides
Skills & Experience Required:
VMWare
Veeam
Microsoft Exchange
Active directory
Kaspersky
Experience in SQL, HTML,
Experience of managing VPN’s, firewalls and network security
1st/2nd /3rd helpdesk support experience
Customised PC and server builds
Setup and install of servers
Previously dealt with suppliers
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
Experience/knowledge Windows 2012/2016/2019
Experience/knowledge of Mac OSX
Experience of working within an ERP system driven environment
