About the opportunity:

Due to our exceptional growth we have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate, talented and experienced HR professional to join our dynamic team based at our Tatura site.

Reporting directly to the Group HR Manager, you will partner with the business on human resources related issues and through collaborative partnerships across the organisation deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the business objectives. Working across a number of sites in Northern Victoria, this role will suit someone who enjoys working with a great team and relishes variety in their day.

Leading a small team you will be primarily responsible for:

• Manage end to end recruitment activities
• Implement HR policies, practices and procedures, and ensure compliance with legislation
• Provide accurate and timely advice and support to employees and managers surrounding employment terms and conditions, HR procedure and policy
• Preparation and facilitation of various training programs
• Provide operational and strategic advice regarding management of performance, employee development, disciplinary process and ER issues.
• Promote occupational health and safety and develop safer and healthier ways of working
• Ensure the organisation is aware of, and complies with, all legislation relating to its duty of care, in all workplace practices
• Coordinate the handling of WorkCover claims and Return to Work processes
• Participate in HR planning and budgeting
• Provide periodic key HR metrics reports
• Maintain up to date and accurate staff records and filing systems
