We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated HR Advisor to join our team and show case their well-established HR skills in this fast paced and dynamic role.

About the role:

The HR Advisor will support the Group HR Manager in all generalist HR activities. The role is primarily to deliver operational HR advice and the provision of the full range of general HR services and activities to managers, supervisors and employees across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide effective and timely HR advice, coaching and support on employment terms and conditions, HR procedures and policy
• Employee relations including performance management support and grievance management
• Industrial relations including interpretation of awards and dispute resolution
• Administration of the performance appraisal and orientation & probation processes
• Deliver learning and development programs
• Recruitment and selection activities
• Build talent pools to help fill high volume roles
• Manage contract preparation and onboarding of employees
• Implementation and interpretation of policies and procedures

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor Degree in Business, HR or similar
• Extensive practical experience in a generalist HR role
• A demonstrated understanding of current employment legislation
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritise based on business objectives and risk
• Ability to influence, counsel and mentor
• High level of ethics, integrity and honesty
• Strong customer focus
• Strong computer skills
