Flatiron Construction Corp Hiring for Engineering Intern – Surveying at Fort St. John, BC Full Time

As an Intern, you will be given the opportunity to apply your academic training and skills in a real-world setting at any number of project locations. In addition, you will assist the project manager, project engineer, and the rest of the on-site construction staff in the application of principles, methods, and techniques of engineering technology by performing any combination of the following duties at a project job site.

Flatiron is currently hiring for Interns to support our Canadian Operations at the Site C Project in Fort St. John, BC. Join our team for a minimum of 8 months, starting in January 2022

This internship will be working with the Surveying team.

What you will be doing:
Must be flexible in assignment location and able to accept work on temporary assignment in various locations.

Currently enrolled in Geromatics Engineering at an accredited technical college or university.

Experience in a construction and/or engineering environment is an asset;

Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments;

Beginner knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawing and specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to the project;

Begginer knowledge of Surveying equipment and softwares is an asset

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
