Requirements
To qualify for the role of Flight Attendant at Flair Airlines, applicants must be at least 19 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with additional qualifications in hospitality or customer service being advantageous. Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in French or other languages is an asset. Candidates should have at least four years of customer service experience, with prior Flight Attendant experience also considered beneficial. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restrictions and hold a valid Canadian passport. Successful applicants will demonstrate teamwork, initiative, and effective interpersonal skills, fostering professional relationships through respect, ownership of performance, and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills, including assertive and de-escalation techniques, are essential. The ability to maintain a polished and professional image aligned with Flair’s values, combined with a positive, resilient attitude, is required. Candidates must apply innovative approaches to enhance performance and promote Flair’s services, contributing to the company’s vision as Canada’s leading ULCC. Physical requirements include reaching 201 cm (79 inches) flat-footed, lifting up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist and 22 lbs. overhead, and living within 90 minutes of the assigned crew base or being willing to relocate. Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, is necessary. Applicants must pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening test, have a clear criminal record, and provide satisfactory employment references.
