Due to current and increasing workload our environmental consultancy client are looking to recruit a

Senior or Principal  Drainage Engineer. You will join a team that is set to grow steadily.

Important – Drainage design experience gained across any of the following; highways, civil, residential or commercial schemes.

We do need you to be conversant with design software programmes such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and Civils3D ideally including integration with BIM models.

Essential Experience

• Substantial drainage design experience, relevant to career to date
• Strong knowledge of DMRB and Sewers for Adoption standards for drainage design
• Expertise in software design methods such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and Civils3D including integration with BIM models
• Technically competent in fundamental hydraulic design principles and ability to apply manual calculation methods where software methods are not available
• Understanding of flood modelling of overland flow and its application in highways projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong team-working ethic is essential
