Reporting to Design Director 

Responsibilities

Track all pre Product development activities  

Monitor new develpoments & production fabrics,trims,samples

• This person will issue design sheets/charts
• Manage tracking sample charts
• Create and maintain all vendor charts
• Update Bill Of Material
• Manage/follow up fabrics/trims approvals new season samples
• Communicate directly with fabric mills
• Communicate directly with factories/agents
• Liaison with all other departments including, but not limited to, Pre-production, Production and Tech-Design
• Manage/follow up new season protos & salesman samples
• Manage/follow up all production lab dips, strike-offs, trims
• Send dev sheets & physical samples/trims for both production/pre production to factories
• Review production samples for details 
• Send follow up comments to factories 
• Communicate daily with overseas factories
• Follow up & communicate with factories throughout the entire production process

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience
• Need to communicate directly w/overseas factories/agents/fabric and mills in China/India/Turkey/Bangladesh
• Must be accurate, highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure and time constraints
• Proficiency in Excel is a must
• Knowledge of manufacturing timelines
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims and garment construction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• A Working knowledge of Illustrator to update sketches
• Manage Fedex and DHL packages coming in and going out
• Mens experience prefer
• design background prefer
